I am very busy working on Book 2. I have been researching hidden doorways that lead to secret passageways. Here is a photo shared with me of a bookcase with a hidden door. Really cool. In the book it will lead to a secret passageway that will ultimately lead to a dense wooded area. I can’t wait to write it.

February Reading Spotlight
In September 2001, Tris Miles faces difficult choices. As Chief Pilot of Westin Charter Company, she’s mentoring Jannat, a brash young captain with limitless potential and a shocking secret. An offer to summit the peak of the pilot pyramid entices Tris to quit her job, but an old nemesis stands in her way.
Meanwhile, Tris juggles the men in her personal life. A friend-with-benefits pushes for commitment. Her ex-boyfriend returns, still in love with her. Unexpectedly, Tris develops new feelings for someone who is already dear to her.
On September 11th, Tris and her crew depart Edinburgh for the United States. Just feet off the ground, they are mysteriously ordered back to the airport where they learn of a deadly terrorist attack on US soil—using airplanes as bombs.
Dr. Kep Woodhead is a brilliant, irascible forensic toxicologist with a dark past.
Bernadette Becker is a disgraced federal investigator with one last chance.
They’re both assigned to a strange poisoning case: a graduate student has been found dead in a 15th-century chapel, overdosed on a controversial hallucinogen.
The list of suspects is long: the priest, the professor, the piscary president, the protestor, the protégé, and at least one wants to silence Becker.
Do Becker and Woodhead have a prayer of discovering the truth before the killer strikes again?
Thrilling Book Fair …
